Tuesday (12/3/1895) -- John Coffer died at his home on North Sugar Street at 9 o'clock last night, aged 60 years.  Funeral from the residence at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Wednesday (12/4/1895) -- Funeral services over the remains of John W. Coffer, will be held at his late residence on South Sugar Street, at 2 p.m. tomorrow, conducted by Dr. H.L. Wiles.
